NEWPORT COUNTY YMCA - EXERCISE EXPANSION
The Newport County YMCA recently contracted Advanced Building Concepts to expand their exercise equipment room again, as the room for a second time had outgrown its space.

ABC expanded the floor area by converting the adjoining squash court into exercise space. Windows were added for natural light, high efficient light fixtures were added, and a rubber floor installed.

NEWPORT HOSPITAL BORDEN CAREY RENOVATIONS COMPLETED
The Borden Carey Building consists of four floors of medical related business offices.

Recently ABC renovated suites on the ground and first floors, what was once the Peoples Credit Union is now an out patient doctors office and the medical space above that has been renovated and upgraded to meet more stringent hospital guidelines.

NEWPORT HOSPITAL - BORDEN CAREY RENOVATIONS
Advanced Building Concepts has just recently completed a contract with Lifespan at Newport Hospital for renovations to Borden Carey Suites G50, 150, 160 and renovations to the ground floor corridor. The building, located on Friendship Street in Newport, is connected to the Newport Hospital with an interior corridor and consists of four floors of medical related business offices.

JOHN BROOKS AWARDED LEED CERTIFICATION
John Brooks recently became a LEED accredited professional. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a green rating system established by the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). This rating system is a certification process designed to set a standard for high-efficiency green buildings. A LEED accredited professional can suggest ways to earn LEED credits without extra cost, to identify means of offsetting certain expenses with savings in other areas and find opportunities for synergies in a project.
