NEWPORT HOSPITAL BORDEN CAREY RENOVATIONS COMPLETED
The Borden Carey Building consists of four floors of medical related business offices.

Recently ABC renovated suites on the ground and first floors, what was once the Peoples Credit Union is now an out patient doctors office and the medical space above that has been renovated and upgraded to meet more stringent hospital guidelines.

LINCOLN SENIOR CENTER
Construction has begun on “The Center”, which will be located at 152 Jenckes Hill Road in Lincoln, RI. This will be a state-of-the-art one story senior center. The 11,000 square foot building is positioned to take full advantage of the environment. All of the activity rooms will be filled with natural sunlight all day long, and the large reception area will contain a fireplace made out of Lincoln lime stone. See progress photos below.



The site where the Senior Center would be built was wooded, which would need to be cleared to begin construction.



Trees and boulders were marked that needed to be removed.



The trees were cut down and the land was cleared to let construction begin.

Land clearing and site excavation was done by Northern Site Contractors of Smithfield, RI. Soil testing as done by Geisser Engineering of Riverside, RI



Footings were prepped and installed by S & S Concrete Form Construction, Inc. of Swansea, MA

Foundation work was done by S & S Concrete Form Construction.

Foundation was backfilled so that insulation could be installed.



Foundation insulation was installed and the MEP Utility work started.



Underslab utility work done by Ralco Electric Inc. of Westport, MA and Priority Plumbing & Heating of Providence, RI



Northern Site Contractors backfilled so that the slab could be poured.



Slab work was done by Frias Concrete Floors, Inc. of Hudson, MA



Once the slab work was done, the exterior framing could begin. The exterior and interior wall framing contractor is Panel Pro's from Keene, NH.



Northeast side of building - SIP (Styrene Insulation Panels) Walls installed.
