The project consists of
eighty-six residential and retail condominium
units directly adjacent to Newport Harbor
and centrally located in downtown Newport.
With a facelift of the entire exterior of
the complex the Thames Street district looks
and feels more alive and vibrant. The construction
process took place during the peak of Newport's
tourist season while not hampering the business
of the store owners or disturbing the tourists.
Advanced Building Concepts,
working as the construction manager to renovate
the renowned Brick Market Place, was responsible
for replacing the siding, trim, roof shingles,
window and door flashings, paint, gutters,
decks, building & site lighting and
common area improvements. Advanced Building
Concepts worked directly with the individual
residential unit owners to replace the windows
and doors as well.
